Job summary

SCOPE OF POSITION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers service calls when necessary and assist with deliveries.
• Strips, wax, vacuum and shampoo floors and/or carpets; maintains outside grounds.
• Paints, builds and reconstructs to the building when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The EVS Attendant regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The EVS Attendant is required to frequently move items weighing up to 50 lbs. The EVS Attendant will be required to ascend/descent from raised objects and position one’s self to perform different functions. The EVS Attendant must be able to remain stationary for 50 percent of the time. Depending on weather, the EVS Attendant may also be exposed to extreme cold, typically temperatures below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour. The EVS Attendant may be exposed to extreme heat, typically temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than an hour.

Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The EVS Attendant must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
