Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is hiring an Environmental Services Attendant at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, NY to keep guest areas clean and sanitized in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The full-time janitorial role runs 4 PM to 12 AM, Wednesday through Sunday, with weekly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation days, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Limited to no experience required.
• Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow directions.
• Guest service oriented.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures.
• Conduct walk-arounds of assigned areas to assure facility meets housekeeping standards.
• Interact with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms; assist guests as needed.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
• Maintain sanitation guidelines.

In this janitorial services role, you will help keep the property clean and sanitized. What will you do?

Physical requirements

• Frequent stair climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying, walking and standing for entire length of shift
• Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing, washing duties
• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
• Working conditions include being regularly exposed to fumes, chemicals, and noise levels that may be moderate to loud
