Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to oversee cleaning and sanitation at a long-term care facility, partnering with the EVS Manager to maintain high cleanliness standards and resident comfort.

You will train staff, manage schedules and inventories, and ensure safety and infection control compliance while representing HCSG with professionalism and care for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist EVS Manager in daily operations to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and supplies.
• Train staff on cleaning techniques, safety, and infection control.
• Communicate with staff, residents, and facility management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and PPE policies.
• Perform quality inspections and provide feedback.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with stakeholders.
