Job summary

LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY HEALTH is seeking an Environment Services (EVS) Ambassador to support the Medical Center. Responsibilities include setting up conference rooms, transporting beds to storage areas, and cleaning and sanitizing entrances, lobbies, restrooms, and patient rooms.

This role requires basic housekeeping duties, stocking linen carts, and ensuring stock levels on nursing units. Reading and following written and oral instructions are essential, with attention to color vision and

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak in English.
• Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently in order to safely complete job duties.
• Able to safely operate standard equipment required for the position.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set-up of conference rooms.
• Transport beds to storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize entrances and lobbies of the Medical Center.
• Clean and sanitize general areas such as stairwells, elevators, restrooms and non-patient care areas.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms.
• Unpack, stock, cover, and deliver linen carts.
• Fold and stock scrubs into dispensing machines and organize shelving storage area.
• Distribute and track clean linens to user department; maintain stock levels on nursing units.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Folds and stocks scrubs into dispensing machines and organizes shelving storage area. Distributes and tracks clean linens to user department, maintains stock levels on nursing units. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

Minimum one year of Housekeeping experience preferred.
