Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking candidates to perform all evisceration line positions on a rotation basis at the Southwest City facility. The role requires teamwork, adherence to company policies, and participation in ongoing team development and LEAN initiatives.

Applicants should be comfortable working in a plant environment with required PPE and safety practices. We value individuals with prior machinery experience and a basic understanding of math and English language structure.

Qualifications

• Experience around machinery preferred.
• Knowledge of processing facility operations preferred.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of English language basics (grammar, spelling).

Responsibilities

• Performs all positions on the line in evisceration.
• Participates as a member of the team.
• Contributes to development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.
• Attends team meetings.
• Fosters cohesiveness on major issues like direction, annual plan, budget, and policy changes.
• Identifies gaps in cohesiveness and works with the team leader to resolve issues while reinforcing actions to achieve synergy.
• Adheres to Simmons Operating Systems, quality, safety, LEAN and policies.
