Job summary

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Anticipates changes in patient status and modifies the plan or escalates to the care team.
• Advocates for patients per ANA Code of Ethics and ensures informed consent.
• Mentors colleagues and participates in governance of practice.
• Delivers care while delegating tasks appropriately within legal and policy frameworks.
• Models inquiry and translates evidence into daily practice.
