Centricity Research is seeking a Research Assistant for our Morehead City, North Carolina site. This onsite role supports study execution from screening to data collection. You’ll work with investigators, CRCs, and the site team to ensure safety, protocol compliance, and accurate documentation.

Centricity Research is one of the largest clinical research networks in North America. We are a fully centralized Integrated Research Organization (IRO) specializing in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials in over 35 therapeutic areas: inpatient and outpatient; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device trials.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Research Assistant (RA) to support the successful execution of clinical research studies from start to finish. In this role, you’ll work closely with Investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs), and the wider site team to ensure studies run smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with protocol and regulations. This hands-on role is varied – some days you’ll recruit and screen participants, other days you’ll collect data, process samples, or keep study documentation organized and accurate. Your work will directly contribute to advancing clinical research that makes a difference in patients’ lives.

Please Note: This role is 100% onsite in Morehead City, North Carolina and requires working Monday through Friday, 40-hour work weeks . Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.

What You'll Do

• Study Protocol & Safety: Conduct study activities in compliance with GCP, SOPs, and protocols; monitor participant safety; and perform scheduled visits and assessments (e.g., vitals, ECGs).
• Recruitment & Enrollment: Support recruitment efforts, screen participants, obtain informed consent, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Study Visit Execution: Perform delegated clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, sample collection/shipping, point-of-care testing, and investigational product accountability.
• Data Integrity & Compliance: Complete source documents and CRFs, maintain CTMS records, report adverse events promptly, and ensure investigational product inventory and storage compliance.
• Site & Administrative Support: Prepare for monitoring visits and audits, maintain ISF, organize exam rooms and labs, assist with scheduling and participant check-in/out, and support outreach events.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have a degree in a health, science, or research-related field or equivalent hands-on experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Are comfortable with clinical tools like blood pressure monitors, ECG machines, or point-of-care testing devices (or are eager to learn).
• Have strong attention to detail and can maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with participants, colleagues, and external partners.
• Are tech-savvy and comfortable navigating Microsoft Office and clinical data systems.
• Thrive in a team environment but can also work independently.

The pay range for this role is:

17.79 - 20.43 USD per hour (Centricity Research Morehead City Neurology)
