Job summary

The role supports the district’s privacy program with assessments, inventories, and risk mitigation. It requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years in privacy, compliance, or information governance, with certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in privacy, cybersecurity, information systems, law, compliance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of privacy, compliance, risk, or information-governance experience.
• Working knowledge of FERPA, COPPA, Texas student-data/privacy requirements, records retention, and common privacy frameworks.
• Experience with privacy impact assessments, data mapping, vendor reviews, policies, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and communication skills. CIPP/US, CIPM, or similar certification preferred.
