Job summary

JW Affinity IT is seeking a security engineer to design and implement controls protecting data across its lifecycle. You will focus on encryption, DLP, key management, data classification, and cloud security in collaboration with privacy, security, infrastructure, and application teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field and 5–7 years of security engineering experience with emphasis on data protection, automation of security operations, and secure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of security engineering experience focusing on data protection.
• Strong knowledge of encryption, key management, DLP, data classification, database security, cloud security, IAM, logging, and secure data transfer.
• Experience integrating controls across hybrid environments and automating security operations.
