Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Vice President to join the Evergreen Portfolio Management team in Boston. Lead portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment pacing across private equity and private credit, while working with senior leadership to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years' experience in portfolio management and strong financial modeling, with a Bachelor's degree and MBA/CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in portfolio management or related investment role.
• Experience with private equity and private credit portfolios, including asset allocation and liquidity management.
• Ability to analyze portfolio-level data and translate findings into investment recommendations.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, pacing, cash flow forecasting, and risk management.
• Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership and committees.

Responsibilities

• Drive portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment pacing across PE and private credit portfolios.
• Evaluate portfolio exposures, performance, and market dynamics to inform capital deployment and strategy.
• Monitor liquidity, cash flows, and risk metrics to support optimization and balance sheet management.
• Translate portfolio analytics into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and investment committees.
• Prepare portfolio reviews, investment materials, and strategic analyses for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with investment, IR, and capital markets teams on fundraising and product initiatives.
