Howard Payne University is establishing an ongoing pool of adjunct instructors for the Department of Natural Sciences to teach biology or chemistry coursework as openings arise each semester. Appointees will deliver instructional content, assess students, and uphold the University’s Christian mission in classroom settings.
Adjunct faculty provide instruction online, hybrid, or in-person, and participate in essential duties consistent with the course requirements and term schedule.

Adjunct faculty employment is a temporary appointment for a single semester to teach specific courses and compensated or a course-by-course basis. Neither the adjunct faculty member nor Howard Payne University are obligated once the semester of appointment is completed. Future appointments may be made when the adjunct faculty member and HPU agree to a new appointment for a future semester.
