Job summary

Illuminate USA is seeking an Events Specialist to design and execute engaging events that showcase the energy and culture of the organization. You will plan associate celebrations, recruiting events, trade shows, and community activities, coordinating details end-to-end.

The role focuses on representing Illuminate USA, building partnerships, and driving brand awareness while coordinating calendars and logistics across teams. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in event-related roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in event planning, event coordination, community engagement, or related roles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with internal teams and external partners.
• Willingness to travel locally and support off-site events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of internal and external events including celebrations, recruiting fairs, trade shows, and community activities.
• Represent the company at events and support engagement, brand awareness, and talent attraction.
• Manage the master event calendar and align activities across teams.
• Handle logistics from venue selection to post-event follow-up, including vendor coordination and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate booth logistics for trade shows and ensure a strong attendee experience.
• Build relationships with vendors, venues, and community partners; maintain brand and experience standards.
