Levy, a premier sports and entertainment hospitality company, seeks an Events Sous Chef to lead culinary operations for River Roast Events. You will execute menus, maintain recipes and presentation standards, and support planning to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• Experience tasting and evaluating food and beverage products.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Outlook email; and internet-based applications.
• Experience managing and developing a culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Executes menus in accordance with brand standards.
• Maintains recipes and core culinary standards.
• Ensures food presentation meets show-quality standards.
• Conducts daily walkthroughs of culinary areas for events.
• Maintains proper product control and handling of inventory and equipment.
• Achieves assigned food-cost and operational goals.
• Ensures safety, security, and sanitation standards are achieved.
• Forecasts and schedules culinary team members based on operational needs.
• Plans product and equipment requirements for anticipated business levels.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops culinary team members according to Levy guidelines.
• Mentors Sous Chefs to strengthen culinary and leadership capabilities.
• Responds to culinary and departmental guest-service opportunities.
