Workbox is seeking a full-time Events Sales Manager to join our events team in Chicago. You will own event coordination after a booking is signed and paid, while also carrying defined sales and revenue responsibilities.

Based on-site in Chicago, you will coordinate timelines, catering, AV, and setup, while supporting national meeting room sales. Strong organizational skills and client focus are essential for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in events, hospitality, sales, customer service, venue operations, or related client-facing role.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with sales activity and revenue expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own meeting room vertical within the Events department.
• Respond to inbound meeting room inquiries, qualify client needs, provide options and pricing, follow up, and move opportunities through booking.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity.
• Provide sales coverage and support for the Director of Events when needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property management teams and vendors.
• Coordinate building-related event requirements and vendor access.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for clients, vendors, and staff during events.
• Assist with staffing plans when multiple events occur.
