Job summary

Victoria College seeks a full-time Production Planner to organize resources and services for Johnson Symposium Center events. You will plan, coordinate, and implement event resources, supervise staff and vendors, and maintain facilities equipment for successful productions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 5 years in a related field, plus 2+ years in production/technical operations, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related production/technical operations experience.
• 2+ years in production or technical operations in a venue or facility setting.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, schedules and implements production resources and event services for each JSC event.
• Obtains event specifications, permits, and documentation from clients and vendors.
• Advises producers and designers on technical specifications and supervises implementation.
• Operates and maintains facility equipment per manufacturer guidelines and standards.
• Coordinates invoicing, payments and deposits using college procedures.
• Supervises volunteer or paid event staff and coordinates safety compliance.
