Job summary

Smooth Media in New York is seeking an experienced Events Producer to build and execute creator-driven events end-to-end. You will take high-potential concepts and turn them into polished, repeatable experiences, owning the full ecosystem of production, partners, vendors, and logistics.

This role rewards big ideas paired with meticulous execution, with the NYC team in-office Mon-Thurs. Expect collaboration with creators and brand partners, end-to-end event management, and growth opportunities at

Qualifications

  • 5 years producing events ideally at a media company, conference business, or summit/tentpole programming; ideally somewhere with multi-stakeholder sponsor obligations and a culture of operational rigor.
  • A strong track record producing professional, creative, or community-driven events.
  • You’re great with people—you can work directly with creators, talent teams, vendors, and brand partners and keep everyone aligned without breaking a sweat.
  • You’re organized and get things done—tight timelines, accounted-for details, and moving pieces under control.
  • You bring real creative instincts—you understand what makes event programming stand out and how to make it happen.
  • You know how to manage partners—vendors, freelancers, production crews; you can delegate, review work, give clear direction, and keep standards high.
  • Based in NYC or open to being in NYC (our team is in-office Mon-Thurs).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end production, taking events from concept to onsite execution
  • Collaborate with creators to develop formats and turn their ideas into polished, repeatable event IP
  • Lead programming, run-of-show, venue selection, guest experience, and overall production quality
  • Manage external partners, vendors, freelancers, and production teams to deliver high-caliber events
  • Partner with Brand Partnerships on sponsorships, integrations, and creator-led activations

As Events Producer, you'll build and execute creator-driven events end-to-end. You'll take high-potential concepts and turn them into polished, repeatable, memorable experiences, owning the full ecosystem of production, partners, vendors, and logistics. This role is for someone who loves dreaming big and operating with precision in equal measure.

What You’ll Do
