Job summary

Atlas Network is seeking a detail-oriented intern to support its Events team in Arlington, VA. The role involves planning and executing conferences, seminars, and workshops, coordinating with vendors, and handling attendee communications.

You will assist in logistics, budgeting, marketing materials, and on-site event support, with opportunities for professional development and a flexible work-from-home option where feasible.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the event planning team to plan conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for events (caterers, AV, decorators).
• Help manage logistics: venue selection, transportation, and accommodation.
• Assist in managing guest lists, registrations, and RSVPs; provide attendee support.
• Create event marketing materials (flyers, social posts, emails).
• Be on-site to support staff and address issues during events.
• Maintain event files, budgets, invoices, and post-event evaluations.
• Gather feedback to improve future events.
