Job summary

Hyatt Regency Austin is seeking an enthusiastic, organized Event Planning Coordinator to support the Event Planning Managers and gain hands-on experience planning and servicing groups and events in a dynamic hospitality setting.

You will work closely with hotel teams to coordinate menus, timelines, AV needs, and client communications, helping create memorable events and guest experiences while developing your career in Events and Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable learning and working within various computer applications.
• Hospitality degree or equivalent experience is a plus—but a passion for hospitality and willingness to learn are just as important.

Responsibilities

• Help bring events to life by assisting Event Planning Managers with the planning and servicing of meetings and events.
• Create and maintain detailed Banquet Event Orders and other event documentation.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and hotel teams alike.
• Coordinate menus, meeting agendas, room setups, audiovisual needs, special requests, and event timelines.
