Job summary

People Inc. is seeking an Associate, Business Operations & Systems, Events to elevate processes across our Events portfolio. The role will map current workflows, simplify where possible, and scale solutions across events, reporting to the Sr.

Director of Events. The position is New York-based, hybrid with three days in the office and up to two remote days, supporting events like the Food portfolio. You will build Airtable as the central platform for planning, budgets, invoicing, sponsorships,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in event operations, business operations, process improvement, program management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting live events, media, hospitality, production, or another environment with complex workflows and deadlines.
• Experience partnering with technical or systems teams to translate business needs into workflows, test solutions, and support implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Events systems roadmap with impact-focused improvements.
• Develop Airtable as a core platform for event planning, budgets, invoicing, sponsorships, and reporting.
• Manage systems and project roadmaps from discovery to implementation with clear milestones.
• Collaborate across teams, gather feedback, and drive adoption and ownership of new processes.
