Job summary

Omnicell is seeking an Event Operations Manager to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of the company’s global events portfolio, delivering exceptional attendee experiences with a focus on operational excellence.

The role collaborates across Global Events, Field Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to execute impactful programs that support growth and patient safety in healthcare technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in event operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing.
  • Proven experience managing logistics for in-person and/or hybrid events.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end event logistics for assigned programs, from planning through onsite execution and post-event closeout.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, project plans, run-of-show documents, vendor schedules, and workflows.
  • Coordinate registration, attendee communications, speaker logistics, shipping and AV requirements, signage, and branded materials.
  • Maintain event quality standards and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.

Location: Remote, but must be local to the Dallas Forth Worth Region

What You’ll Do

Purpose

Drive the successful planning, coordination, and execution of Omnicell's global events portfolio, delivering exceptional attendee experiences while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and scalability.


Primary Impact

As an Event Operations Manager, you will:


Event Operations & Execution


  • Lead end-to-end event logistics for assigned programs, from strategic planning and pre-event preparation through onsite execution and post-event closeout.

  • Develop and manage event timelines, project plans, run-of-show documents, vendor schedules, and operational workflows to ensure flawless execution.

  • Coordinate registration processes, attendee communications, speaker logistics, shipping and freight, audiovisual requirements, event signage, and branded materials.

  • Maintain exceptional event quality standards while ensuring alignment with Omnicell brand guidelines and experience expectations.


Vendor & Budget Management


  • Build and manage relationships with venues, hotels, event agencies, freight providers, and audiovisual partners.

  • Lead vendor engagement activities, including statement of work development, deliverable management, timeline tracking, and performance oversight.

  • Monitor event budgets, process purchase requests, manage invoices, and support accurate budget reconciliation activities.


Onsite & Virtual Event Leadership


  • Serve as the operational lead onsite, proactively addressing issues, managing execution details, and ensuring a positive attendee experience.

  • Support virtual and hybrid event experiences through platform coordination, speaker preparation, testing, and technical readiness.

  • Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders by providing proactive communication and solution-oriented support during events.


Operational Excellence & Process Improvement


  • Maintain accurate event documentation, inventory tracking, operational playbooks, and reporting processes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, standardization, and overall event effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare industry requirements, company policies, and event governance standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Partner closely with Field Marketing and Sales teams to align event execution with business goals and audience engagement strategies.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to support registration systems, lead capture processes, reporting, and data integrity.

  • Coordinate post-event activities, including attendee surveys, follow-up communications, performance reporting, and lessons learned reviews.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in event operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing

  • Proven experience managing logistics for in‑person and/or hybrid events

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Experience working with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders

  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments


Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience supporting B2B, healthcare technology, enterprise software, medical device, or healthcare services organizations.

  • Familiarity with event registration platforms, CRM systems, lead capture tools, and marketing technology solutions.

  • Experience managing large industry tradeshows, customer events, executive engagements, or multi-event portfolios.

  • Experience marketing healthcare technology, medication management solutions, pharmacy systems, or clinical software.

  • Understanding of healthcare workflows across inpatient and outpatient care settings.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to support onsite event execution and customer-facing engagements.

Work Conditions


  • Remote or hybrid work environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% for customer events, tradeshows, executive programs, team meetings, and industry engagements.

  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during event execution periods.

  • This role may require occasional physical activity during trade shows, events, and product demonstrations, including lifting, carrying, and setting up materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds


Base Compensation: $67,318.00 to $125,018.00


(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset.
