NET-A-PORTER is seeking an Events Manager to lead planning and execution of high-impact events across North America from New York. You will partner with Senior Events Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless experiences that align with the brand's luxurious standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in events or related fields, strong end-to-end production and budget management, and the ability to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of events, experiential marketing, luxury, hospitality, or related experience.
• End-to-end event production and project-management experience.
• Experience managing vendors and event budgets.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel and work evenings or weekends when events require.
• Knowledge of the luxury fashion and cultural landscape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client, press, brand, designer, partnership, and internal events.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, production schedules, and event briefs.
• Coordinate venues, production partners, catering, entertainment, transportation, gifting, and event logistics.
• Manage assigned event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expense reconciliation.
• Partner with PR, Marketing, Personal Shopping, Commercial, and Global Events teams on event execution.
• Manage invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, seating plans, and VIP requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact for vendors and partners throughout the event-planning process.
• Oversee event setup, on-site execution, and breakdown.
• Ensure all event details reflect NET-A-PORTER’s luxury brand standards.
• Track event results and prepare post-event recaps and reporting.
• Provide guidance and delegation to Events Coordinators/Assistants as appropriate.

EVENTS MANAGER, NORTH AMERICA

Reporting into: Head of Communications & Public Relations

Work Model: 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Role Overview

The Events Manager is responsible for planning and executing NET-A-PORTER events across North America. Working closely with the Senior Events Manager and cross-functional partners, this role manages events from initial planning through on-site delivery and post-event reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client, press, brand, designer, partnership, and internal events.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, production schedules, and event briefs.
• Coordinate venues, production partners, catering, entertainment, transportation, gifting, and event logistics.
• Manage assigned event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and expense reconciliation.
• Partner with PR, Marketing, Personal Shopping, Commercial, and Global Events teams on event execution.
• Manage invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, seating plans, and VIP requirements.

Experience & Skills

• 4–6 years of events, experiential marketing, fashion, luxury, hospitality, or related experience. Agency experience is a plus.
• Strong end-to-end event production and project-management experience.
• Experience managing vendors and event budgets.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the luxury fashion and cultural landscape preferred.
• Flexibility to travel and work evenings or weekends when events require.
