Job summary

Willow Creek Community Church seeks an Events Manager to lead planning and execution of ministry events and facility rentals across campuses, delivering Christ-centered hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences. You'll recruit and coach Welcome Hosts, coordinate volunteers, and oversee event logistics, budgets, and day-of operations while partnering with ministries for seamless events.

Preferred 3–5+ years in event management with leadership experience; salary ranges from $65,000–$73,000

Willow Creek Community Church is looking for an Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of impactful ministry events and mission-aligned facility rentals across our campuses.

In this role, you'll play an important part in everything from large-scale church events on holidays and wrap-around event weekends, to hosting outside facility rentals like concerts and conferences and executing community outreach events, ensuring every guest experiences excellence and Christ-centered hospitality. You'll also recruit, coach, and lead a team of Welcome Hosts and volunteers who help make every event memorable.

What You\'ll Do

• Support the planning and execution of ministry events, lead out on execution of external facility rentals and maintain community partner relationships.
• Create exceptional guest experiences through intentional hospitality.
• Recruit, develop, and care for event volunteers.
• Manage, train and support campus Welcome Hosts as they make lasting first impressions at the building’s main entrance and are the eyes and ears of the Church.
• Partner with ministries and operational teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, scheduling, and day-of operations.
