Job summary

New Works Remodeling LLC is seeking a rockstar team leader to develop and run an Event Department, leading demonstrators to promote our home improvement brand at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You will recruit, train, and manage a team, book new shows, generate leads, and ensure visuals and communications are top-notch.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, and weekly reporting while maintaining strong customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Team management or leadership experience required.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience required.
• Recruiting and hiring experience will be routinely used.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events each weekend in the territory.
• Generate leads and convert leads to sales at event booths.
• Recruit, train, and manage the event demonstrator team.
• Ensure promotional booths are visually appealing at all events.
• Plan schedules for events and the team; manage calendars and budgets.
• Track productivity, labor, inventory, and budget; report weekly.

Shows & Events Manager

New Works Remodeling LLC is seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Compensation: $18-25/hr, PLUS Commission! (Averaging Between $15,000 - $40,000). You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through marketing and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everybody's talking about!

As a Shows & Events Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in


• Generate leads that generate sales and profit from these show and event booths


• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you


• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully at these shows & events


• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team


• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department's productivity, labor, inventory, and budget


• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved


• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience


• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience


• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus


• Great interpersonal skills: You must want to talk with new people and customers, and be decent at it!


• Valid Driver’s License & Your Own Reliable Vehicle (Non-commute work travel reimbursed!)


• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths


• At least basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties


• Must want to work every weekend
