Job summary

4Roots Farm Campus in Orlando, FL is seeking an Events Intern to support nonprofit event planning and production. You will help with setup/breakdown, volunteer coordination, RSVPs, and on-site guest experiences, gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven organization.

Qualified students are studying Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related fields and are prepared to work some evenings and weekends.

What You’ll Do:

Summary

Physical & Work Environment

• Work primarily on the 4Roots Farm Campus in both indoor and outdoor event settings
• Frequent walking throughout the campus during events and event preparation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor events
• Internship runs throughout the Fall and Spring semesters (August 2026 – May 2027)
• 18+ hours per week
• Flexible schedule based on class availability
• Some evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays are required to support events
• Hands‑on experience planning, coordinating, and executing community events
• Mentorship from experienced events and nonprofit professionals
• Exposure to event logistics, guest experience, vendor coordination, and community engagement
• Opportunities to collaborate across multiple departments and build a professional network
• Meaningful experience supporting the mission of the 4Roots Farm Campus
