Community Action House is seeking an Events Intern to support the planning and execution of events, engage volunteers, and coordinate logistics across multiple locations. You will work closely with the Events Manager to develop plans, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure meaningful community engagement.

The Events Intern will support the planning and execution of Community Action House events that engage our community, strengthen relationships with supporters, and advance our mission. This role works closely with the Events Manager to coordinate event logistics, assist with volunteer engagement, and provide on‑site support that helps create welcoming, successful events for guests, donors, volunteers, and community members.
This internship offers meaningful nonprofit event management experience while providing opportunities to strengthen your planning, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.
We are looking for passionate students pursuing a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Position Term: January 2026 – April/Early May 2026 (Flexible start date)
Compensation: $13.73–$15.00/hour
Supervision Received: Specific Direction: Receives detailed work instructions or guidance for performing repetitive tasks. Supervisor monitors progress and provides feedback or correction as needed to ensure that tasks are completed according to expectations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None: Does not have formal people‑leading (supervisory) responsibilities.
