Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced events coordinator to manage assigned events from initial planning calls through post-event billing at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA.

Candidates should have strong MS Office skills, familiarity with Delphi, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work on-site Monday through Friday. Compensation is approximately $25–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years job-related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Delphi preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned events with introductory calls, periodic follow-up with clients through the planning phase, coordination of details, and completion of accurate Banquet Event Orders on a timely basis.
• Communicates all changes on Banquet Event Orders to affected operational departments.
• Personally meets meeting planners upon arrival to finalize arrangements and orient the client to the facility and staff.
• Ensures billing is correct before sending to client and handles billing questions efficiently.
• Completes follow-up correspondence to clients and vendors as needed.
• Attends meetings and conducts pre-convention planning with clients and staff.
• Conducts planning tours of the property to clients and outside vendors.
• Assists Sales/Reservations with guestroom needs.
