Job summary

The Marcus Corporation, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI, is seeking a Catering/Events Coordinator to thread details from sales to operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication. You will manage files, contracts, and memos while supporting the events team and clients.

You will coordinate with hotel staff, answer inquiries, and help with various departments as needed. A high school diploma and MS Office skills are required, with Delphi experience preferred to support event

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. College degree preferred.
• Able to use Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong multiple project management skills.
• Previous Delphi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create files for contracts, correspondence, forms, memorandums, Delphi management system updates, and other documents.
• Answer telephone and responds to caller inquiries.
• Exercise decision-making skills to direct callers based on requests.
• Accurately records and distributes messages.
• Communicate with other hotel associates to relay pertinent sales related information.
• Organizes, files, distributes faxes, and other essential functions necessary in the daily department operation.
• Works in cooperation between Events Manager(s) and clients in Manager’s absence.
• Performs supportive functions during the absence of other sales and catering assistants.
• Ability to assist in other departments when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
