Make Golf Your Career is seeking a Part-Time Events & Catering Assistant for The Dunes of Naples in Naples, FL. The role supports planning, coordination, and execution of catering services, banquets, and group events while delivering guest-focused service.

You will coordinate with clients, assist with menu planning and room setup, track event requirements, and work with Food & Beverage, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure memorable events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of hospitality, catering, event planning, or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; Delphi experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event and catering details with clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with menu planning, room setup, timelines, guest counts, and special requests.
• Conduct facility tours and site visits for prospective and booked events.
• Track contracts, guarantees, deadlines, and event requirements.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating event staff, including servers, hosts, and setup personnel.
• Maintain accurate event records, invoicing, and POS entries.
• Support department projects, event administration, and promotional activities as assigned.
• Promote excellent guest service and assist in resolving client concerns.

General Purpose:

Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of catering services, special events, banquets, and group functions while ensuring exceptional guest service.

Essential Duties:

• Coordinate event and catering details with clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with menu planning, room setup, timelines, guest counts, and special requests.
• Conduct facility tours and site visits for prospective and booked events.
• Track contracts, guarantees, deadlines, and event requirements.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating event staff, including servers, hosts, and setup personnel.
• Maintain accurate event records, invoicing, and POS entries.

Qualifications:

• One to two years of hospitality, catering, event planning, or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; Delphi experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, and use hands.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
