The LINE DC in Washington, DC is seeking an Events/Banquet Line Cook with a genuine passion for hospitality. You will report to the Executive Sous Chef and handle fast-paced, multi-task responsibilities to deliver a consistently brilliant culinary experience.

We value autonomous, proactive team players who communicate well and support peers across departments to ensure guest satisfaction and culinary excellence at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in fast-paced professional kitchens.
• Experience in high-volume, food-forward restaurants is preferred.
• Capable of championing a strong culture and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and clean station per guidelines.
• Prepare all items to recipe and standards for consistent quality.
• Follow recipes, portions and presentation specs.
• Restock items during shifts as needed.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and organization of station.
• Care for kitchen equipment and cleanliness across areas.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of walk-ins and storage.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by Chefs.
