Curated Events is seeking an Event Warehouse Crew Lead in Covington, LA. The role is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations, coordinating a crew, and ensuring accurate preparation and handling of event rental equipment.

You will lead, train, and supervise staff while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and proficiency with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Fast-paced, physically demanding role with heavy lifting and standing/walking.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and occasional outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the warehouse crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to new and existing team members.
• Delegate tasks and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Oversee picking, packing, and staging of event rental equipment for delivery.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of trucks and verify items against manifests.
• Maintain an organized, clean warehouse in accordance with company standards.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and damages.
• Enforce safety protocols and safety best practices among the team.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
