Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Professional Cleaner for an events and hospitality company with venues in Upington, Northern Cape. This full-time role involves cleaning before, during, and after events, with shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities include sanitizing venues, post-event turnover, equipment operation, inventory control, and collaboration with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience in hospitality or event venues.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines during changeovers.
• Physical stamina for long shifts, bending, lifting and standing.
• Reliable, punctual, professional appearance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize event venues including halls, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and FOH/BOH areas.
• Perform post-event cleaning and rapid turnover between bookings.
• Maintain cleanliness of fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
• Respond to cleaning needs during events with discretion and efficiency.
• Manage inventory and storage of cleaning supplies.
• Operate floor machines, carpet cleaners and high-pressure washers.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with event staff and venue management to ensure smooth operations.
• Report maintenance issues observed in venues promptly.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience through impeccable venue cleanliness.
