Job summary

SFJAZZ in San Francisco is seeking an on-call Event Technician for entry-level support of all SFJAZZ events. This role provides crucial help to staff across the Artistic, Education, Development and Rentals departments and assists Facilities/Operations as needed.

Responsibilities include set-up and breakdown of backline equipment, portable stages, sound systems, banners and signage, plus transporting materials to SFJAZZ storage facilities. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing arts or concert production field.
• Ability to work under pressure to keep show schedule on track.
• Reliable and dependable with a high degree of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide set-up and breakdown support for performance and event spaces (SFJAZZ Center).
• Transport backline equipment, portable stages, sound systems, banners and signage.
• Assist with other duties as assigned and support facilities/operations as needed.
