  • Regularly lift 50 pounds or less and stand/walk on event days.

Job description

The Event Support and Material Movement work study is responsible for working in a team environment, exercising good judgment, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, while providing support and supplies to the University for Events. Work Studies should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, assist with numerous moving and event support logistics, and complete special tasks when assigned. The Event Support work study reports to the Associate Director and Managers of Event Support and Material Movement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESEvent Support Responsibilities:Deliver, set up and break down event material for University events. Deliver, set up and break down tables and chairs for University events. Deliver, set up and break down pipe and drape for University events.
