Job summary

PennWest is seeking energetic individuals to join the Event Support Team on campus. You will help set up venues for events and operate audio, lighting, and projections, ensuring smooth runs for both on-campus and external clients.

Applicants should be self-motivated, dependable, well organized, and outgoing. Evening and weekend work is required. A background in theatre or communications is preferred, but training is available for interested candidates.

Qualifications

• Background in theatre, stage crew, or communications preferred but not required.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Ability to navigate steps and lift/move furniture, equipment and scenery.
• We are willing to train interested individuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up venues for events and coordinate space layouts.

As a member of the team, you will help: set up venues for events, set up and run audio, stage lighting, and projections, and provide quality customer support to both on campus and external clients.

Applicants should be self motivated, dependable, well organized, and outgoing. Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends. Applicant must be able to navigate steps and lift/move furniture, equipment and scenery. A background in theatre, stage crew, or communications is preferred, but not necessary. Basic computer and troubleshooting skills are required. Applicant will demonstrate professionalism in the workplace which includes language, dress, and proper etiquette when working with coworkers and clients. We are willing to train interested individuals.
