Job summary

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover is hiring Events Staff. You will support day-to-day operations at events, assist with setup and breakdown, and help guests, athletes, and clients with excellent service under the Events Shift Manager.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced venue, with shifts including nights and weekends and various events from December to May.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED, some college or related training preferred.
• Complete an online application for this posting.
• Attend an in-person hiring open house at Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex between Oct 1–Oct 31; interview with Events Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, breakdown, and turnover of event spaces under the Events Shift Manager.
• Greet and direct guests, athletes, and visitors while delivering excellent service.
• Monitor areas during events and escalate issues to Shift Manager as needed.
• Coordinate with Park Police and Shift Manager to maintain safety and a secure environment.
