Job summary

PRO EM in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Event Staffing Manager to join our in-office team. You will report to the Event Staffing Manager and oversee scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day staffing operations to ensure requests are filled accurately and on time.

This role involves partnering with Human Resources on disciplinary documentation, coaching and counseling, and sharing weekend on-call responsibilities to maintain coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, detail orientated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Able to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks with attention to detail under pressure.
• Available to participate in weekend on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure all staffing requests are filled accurately and on time.
• Oversee in office resource and day-to-day staffing operations.
• Act as the main contact for Event Resources when the Event Resources Manager is out.
• Work with Human Resources on disciplinary documentation, coaching, and counseling.
• Alternate weekend call support with the Event Staffing Manager to ensure weekend coverage.
• Monitor staffing levels across events and address gaps proactively.
• Manage costs and staffing levels across events.
• Resolve staffing conflicts and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate scheduling changes and staffing updates to internal teams promptly.
• Support the Event Resources Manager with team oversight and daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
