Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services seeks an energetic Event Staff member for college sports events. You will collect tickets, welcome guests, usher attendees, and help deliver exceptional service at busy venues.

Responsibilities include directing foot traffic, maintaining venue cleanliness and safety, and supporting overall event day operations. No prior experience required; weekend and Saturday shifts at EWU provide flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• As a condition of employment, must successfully complete a background investigation and a post‑offer/pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and may be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect tickets, welcome and usher guests, and provide superior customer service.
• Direct foot traffic and ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency and maintenance of designated areas.
• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Verify wristbands and badges and manage entry as appropriate.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and a friendly, engaging experience.
