Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring friendly, customer-focused Event Staff to support EWU football games and other university events. No prior experience required; training provided and weekly pay at $18.50 per hour.

You’ll greet guests, scan tickets, usher crowds, and help maintain a safe, enjoyable venue environment. The role offers flexible, part-time hours under 30 per week, ideal for students, caregivers, or those seeking supplemental income.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; Driver’s Record check may be needed.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directs entry into venues, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies and regulations of venues and events.
• Initiates a genuine, friendly greeting to guests at facility entrances and a sincere thank you upon departure.
• Provides guests with directions or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Maintains a smile and friendly tone in all guest interactions.
