Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking Event Staff to support venues such as sports stadiums, concerts and conventions. You will welcome guests, usher attendees, collect and/or scan tickets, and help ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.

No prior experience is required and training is provided. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with a weekly pay schedule and flexible hours to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test and may be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directs foot traffic and checks tickets as guests enter or exit the venue.
• Directs guests and verifies wristbands and badges where applicable.
• Gives guests helpful directions and a friendly greeting as they arrive and a polite farewell when they leave.
• Maintains cleanliness, operational efficiency and overall safety in designated areas.
