Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support large events in Houston, providing ticketing assistance, guest ushering, and superior customer service at sports, concerts, festivals, and venues.

Position offers flexible part-time and full-time schedules with weekly pay and paid training. A security license may be required depending on role; starting pay is $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Must be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Overtime may be required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct traffic and verify entry at venue entrances; may scan tickets and verify wristbands.
• Greet guests warmly and thank them as they depart.
• Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of designated areas.
