Job summary

Mark Arts Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facility Coordinator to set up, move, and reset event spaces. The role works closely with the Event Manager to arrange tables, chairs, furniture, and equipment according to floor plans and event specs.

The position is part-time and hourly, with evenings and weekends required. Candidates must be physically capable and dependable, able to read plans, and complete tasks on tight schedules in a dynamic gallery environment.

Qualifications

• Physically active role requiring frequent standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow floor plans and setup diagrams.
• Previous event setup or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, organized and able to work within event timelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete event setups accurately according to floor plans and instructions.
• Move, arrange, and position tables, chairs, furniture, equipment, and other event materials.
• Complete event breakdowns within established timelines.
• Ensure event and gallery spaces are returned to designated layouts after events.
• Prepare spaces to be clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready before events begin.
• Safely lift and handle event furniture and equipment.
• Maintain storage areas and coordinate with staff to keep equipment organized.
• Report maintenance, equipment, safety, or repair needs promptly.
