Wyndham Garden York is seeking a dependable Banquet Setup team member to join our hospitality team. You will prepare and arrange event spaces, assist with weddings and conferences, and ensure rooms are guest-ready. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and prior banquet or hospitality experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred.
• Experience in banquet, hotel, restaurant, or events is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Ability to follow event diagrams and setup instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet, meeting, and event spaces per diagrams and floor plans.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, stages, and equipment per event requirements.
• Prepare rooms for weddings, meetings, and banquets.
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and supplies.
• Coordinate with Banquet Manager and team to ensure smooth events.
• Report missing or malfunctioning equipment to management.
• Maintain storage areas and restock supplies as needed.
• Support with room changes and resets between events.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude.
