Haymarket is looking for physically active individuals to assist with event setups at Ashbourne Farms located in LaGrange, KY. In this part-time role, you will help prepare and break down luxury events by lifting heavy furniture and maintaining a clean venue.

The position requires availability for varying shifts, especially during our busy season from April to November. Ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, ability to follow directions, and work collaboratively with a team.

Job description

This is a physical, hands‑on role. You will be the "muscle" behind our events, doing the heavy lifting to turn our farm into a world‑class venue. If you enjoy staying active and working with your hands, this is for you.

Ashbourne Farms is located just outside of Louisville, KY in scenic LaGrange, KY and hosts a myriad of high‑end luxury events such as weddings, corporate outings, concerts and shows, and private events throughout the year.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay: Starting at $16 per hour, based on your experience.
• Hours: Mostly morning and afternoon shifts.
• Type: Part‑time, as‑needed work. Our busiest season is April through November.

This job is all about movement. You will spend your shift doing the following:

• Heavy Lifting: Regularly lifting and carrying tables, chairs, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Moving & Setup: Pushing, pulling, and hauling furniture to set up large event spaces.
• Physical Activity: You will be on your feet the entire time; walking, bending, reaching, and moving heavy items.
• Indoor/Outdoor Work: You will be working in various weather conditions to get the job done.

What You Will Do

• Build the Event: Follow a floor plan (a map of the room) to put every piece of furniture in the exact right spot.
• Break it Down: After the party is over, you will help take everything apart and store it safely.
• Team Support: Work closely with the crew to make sure the farm stays clean, organized, and ready for guests.

• Available for shifts a few days per week; occasional evening or weekend availability may be requested based on the event schedule.
