Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle physical responsibilities involved with moving and placing event space equipment (tables, chairs, podiums, etc).
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish the environment for events, including basic equipment for banquets/conventions inside or outside the Convention Center.
• Monitor the event space for cleanliness or maintenance.
• Assist guests with movement of equipment or materials as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms and back of house areas for the Ballroom and Convention Center.
• Execute events off-site as needed.
