Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a Facilities support worker to provide operational support for events and daily setup tasks on base. You will help configure conference rooms, move equipment, and maintain work areas in a physically demanding role.

The position requires lifting, following instructions, and a willingness to complete background checks and pre-employment requirements. Resumes should clearly show relevant experience and ability to work with power tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of laborering experience required.
• Must have the ability to use, control, and clean tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift 15-44 lbs.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervision.
• Experience MUST be clearly listed on your Resume in order to receive consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to activities who provides support to customers in various scheduled events and functions.
• Configure conference rooms; organize tables, chairs, and audio/video equipment from storage to actual setup of this furniture/equipment.
• Loads and unloads equipment and furniture; moves materials using hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges for storage.
• Cleans work area such as carpets, etc. Cleans floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
