Job summary

Portland'5 Centers for the Arts, part of Metro, is hiring variable hour event set-up and operations team members in Portland, Oregon. If you enjoy staying active and helping create unforgettable experiences for guests at venues like Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Keller Auditorium, this is for you.

Shifts include weekends and evenings; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80+ pounds occasionally, and be comfortable with cleaning duties and guest-facing

Qualifications

• One year of experience in facility cleaning or janitorial work; OR any combination of education, professional, volunteer and lived experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Keep restrooms, lobbies, and event spaces clean, welcoming, and guest-ready.
• Set up tables, chairs, stages, drapes, and more for performances and events.
• Support a clean, safe, and well-run environment for artists, crews, and audiences alike.
