Job summary

The Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Center (RCPAC) seeks a loyal employee to assist with event set up, janitorial work, and maintenance of the Raleigh Convention Center. The ideal candidate will work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, provide face-to-face customer service to facility users, and operate housekeeping equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Prior custodial/general maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reads and uses floor plans and event documents to set up spaces while keeping areas clean.
• Performs janitorial tasks and operates housekeeping equipment.
• Moves and places tables, chairs, stages, and other event furnishings.
• Tears down event spaces and returns items to proper locations, reporting damage.
• Provides courteous customer service to patrons and guests.
