Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a facilities technician to manage set-up, breakdown, and changes for events while maintaining cleanliness. The role involves heavy lifting, a high level of physical exertion, and support for conversions and maintenance tasks across facilities.

Responsibilities include cleaning, equipment setup, repairs, and coordination with engineers. The position requires availability for extended hours and travel to multiple Legends Global sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate basic tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks to keep the facility presentable.
• Set up and tear down for events, including tables, chairs, and seating.
• Transport trash and supplies, and support day-to-day operations.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, re-lamping, and replacing ceiling tiles.
• Assist building engineers and subcontractors with construction and maintenance.
• Report safety or property issues promptly to supervisor.
• Be available to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Be able to work at Legends Global facilities in Wichita and Andover.
