Job summary

Legends Global in Wichita, KS is seeking a hardworking facilities associate to support event setup, breakdown, and related cleaning tasks. The role requires physical exertion, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include preparing spaces for banquets, moving tables and chairs, transporting supplies, and assisting building engineers with maintenance. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred.
• 1 to 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing and waxing; keep the facility presentable.
• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events; set up and tear down tables, chairs, and retractable seating.
• Perform various duties to ensure day-to-day operations; load/unload delivery trucks, transport trash, replenish supplies.
• Perform repairs and maintenance such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tiles, replacing filters.
• Assist building engineers and subcontractors in construction, repair, and maintenance of the building.
• Report irregularities, safety or damage concerns promptly to supervisor.
• Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Position requires ability to work at all Legends Global facilities in Wichita and Andover.
• Other duties may be assigned.
