Job summary

City of Humble seeks a facility and events assistant to support setup and breakdown for Civic Center events and other City facilities. You will help maintain equipment, assist with A/V needs, and ensure safety and quality during events.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid Texas driver’s license, with the ability to pass background and drug screening. Flexibility for event schedules is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pass background check, physical/PAT and drug screen.
• Experience in event set up and planning is desired.
• Ability to read basic safety directions and MSDS.
• Valid Texas drivers' license is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown for events at City facilities.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in good working order.
• Assist in safety, security, and incident resolution.
• Learn and operate audio/visual/lighting equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and systems.
